Born to play Elvis Presley from the Golden to the Vegas years, International award winning tribute artist Steve Michaels executes a dynamic portrayal of authenticity that makes him one of the most highly praised and sought after Elvis stylists in the country. From being crowned World Champion in Memphis, Tennessee, to performing all over the world, Stephen's list of credits and achievements are impressive. But more impressive is the passion he brings to the stage.
With amazing accuracy, Steve delivers an astonishing high-energy stage performance mastering the look, sound, vocal dexterity, and mannerisms of the King Of Rock & Roll. His exquisite styling, superb musicianship and ability to successfully capture an authentic portrayal of Elvis Presley has endeared him to audiences everywhere. Covering Elvis' entire career Steve successfully recreates the early Sun Studio recordings, through to the army, movie, '68 Comeback, and explosive concert years.
Truly an international talent Steve has traveled to Hong Kong, Bangkok, and China. His vocal and visual performances have placed him alongside Elvis Presley's inner circle of musician's, the great D.J. Fontana, the legendary Jordanaires, 1970's bassist Jerry Sheff, and the soulfoul singing trio the Sweet Inspirations. Recognized for his talents Steve was honored to entertain guests from Elvis Presley's musical past at the Eleventh Annual Elvis Presly Memorial Dinner and was a featured guest at Elvis Presley Enterprises "Memories of Elvis" review in Memphis, Tennessee presented by Elvis International Forum the Magazine.
Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Elvis Presley's passing Stephen returned to Memphis as a featured performer of the 2007 production "The Spirit of the King" concert and endorsed Elvis Presley Enterpises event.
